There were several government agencies and non-profit organisations involved such as e2i, MSF (OWD), SNEF, SCWO, SME Centre of Singapore @SMCCI and many more.

The platform believes in giving back and part of the proceeds from the event would be utilised to provide free entrepreneurship programs for marginalised women in Singapore from low income families.

The event was covered by Channel News Asia and was featured on News 5 and had received positive feedback from the attendees and speakers alike.

“It has been a very impressive lineup of speakers. It’s a wonderful format with speeches and panel discussions that are touching on many minimized issues. I think, everything is organized at a very professional level. So, I’ll definitely come back again next year.” – Steen Puggaard, Former CEO, 4Fingers Crispy Chicken

“Well, I think it is a fantastic event and I think all Entrepreneurs should come out here and especially the female ones because it empowers women. It’s great to be able to connect people with the same mindset and not just entrepreneurs. You know, there are people who are thinking of getting there but they are not quite there yet; and there are people who are just starting and there.” – May Ooi, Former Olympian, Entrepreneur and ONE Athlete from ONE Championship

“What was amazing watching the last panel was that all the entrepreneurs are all from different markets. So, we have a woman from Indonesia, a woman of Chinese background. I thought that that it was really fantastic. It wasn’t just Singapore entrepreneurs because of course, our digital market place here and the direct consumers in Singapore is not as many people where somewhere in Indonesia and Mainland China are facing a whole lot of different problems in terms of scale. So, I think that was great that the panels were not just Singaporean entrepreneurs but regional.” – Simone Heng, Radio presenter, 95FM, Mediacorp

With the positive reviews and testimonials, H.E.R Asia Summit will be returning next year on 29 August 2019 in Singapore.

Great news is, H.E.R Entrepreneur is going regional and will be launching H.E.R Malaysia Summit on October 2019 and H.E.R Philippines Summit in 2020.

The H.E.R Network membership was launched for the Singapore market on-site to gather the network more regularly for workshops, LearnXNetworking sessions and the yearly summits from 2019.

The whole impetus for H.E.R Entrepreneur is to inspire, educate and empower women entrepreneurs and leaders. The platform attracts both male and female entrepreneurs as they encourage diversity and inclusion in its programs.
